Registration Timeline- February 27-March 30
February 13th- Students will review the registration video during 2nd period class. Students will receive a copy of the course listing/course selection sheet to begin to make course selections. Additionally, students will receive access to the course registration modules on canvas which will assist them with the registration process. Students should review these resources with their parents/guardians and decide which courses to request during their registration period. The course selection sheet should be brought during the student's registration appointment to record requests into Powerschool.
February 16th- Rising 9th-12th Curriculum Night
Students and parents receive information on courses, course selections, registration process and much more!
February 27st-March 3rd- 11th Grade Registration & Junior Conferences- Students will meet with their counselor in small groups of 4-5. Through English III and/or American History classes. If students do not have either of these courses this semester, they will have a scheduled appointment. Counselors will review the KHS Junior Planning Guide, discuss post-secondary plans, and review remaining graduation requirements. Students will complete their registration and enter course selections into Powerschool. Students are highly encouraged to bring their completed COURSE SELECTION WORKSHEET that was given to them on Monday, February 13th in class. Course verifications will be provided on the following Monday, March 6th, through 1st period. Students will have a week to return with a parent/guardian signature for agreement or to make changes.

Counselors will meet with current 10th grade students through their English II course. If students do not have English II this semester, they will have a scheduled registration appointment with a counselor in a small group setting. Students will complete their registration and enter course selections into Powerschool. Students are highly encouraged to bring their completed COURSE SELECTION WORKSHEET that was given to them on Monday, Feb. 13th in class. Course verifications will be provided on the following Monday, March 6th, through 1st period. Students will have a week to return with a parent/guardian signature for agreement or to make changes.

Counselors will meet with current 9th grade students through selected math classes. If the student does not have the scheduled math class, students will have a scheduled registration appointment with a counselor in a small group setting. Students will complete their registration and enter course selections into Powerschool. Students are highly encouraged to bring their completed COURSE SELECTION WORKSHEET that was given to them on Monday, Feb. 13th in class. Course verifications will be provided on the following Monday, March 20th, through 1st period. Students will have a week to return with a parent/guardian signature for agreement or to make changes.
March 30th- All course applications, Parent AP waivers, modified day/early release, early graduation and midyear graduation forms are due for consideration. Parent AP waivers are required for students who have requested AP courses without a teacher recommendation.
