2022-2023 Registration


Registration for 2022-2023 will be completed in school on March 9, 2022!  

Registration Timeline-  March 1-April 13

​February 17th- Rising 9th-12th Curriculum Night

February 21st-February 28th- Junior Conferences- All Juniors will have a conference with their School Counselor.  Conferences will be scheduled through English and American History classes.  If students do not have English or American History this semester, they will be scheduled for an individual appointment.

March 2nd-  Students will review the registration video during class.  Students will receive a copy of their teacher recommendations, a credit detail sheet, and a course listing/course selection sheet.  Additionally, students will receive access to the course registration modules on canvas which will assist them with the registration process.  Students should review these resources with their parents/guardians and decide which courses to request on the course selection sheet.  The course selection sheet should be brought back on March 9th to record requests into Powerschool.

March 2nd-March 8th- Counselors will be available for appointments for registration assistance.  Families can schedule registration appointments by visiting the Contact page ​and clicking on your student's assigned counselor's name. 

March 3rd 6p-8p- Registration Open Lab- counselors will be available on Google Meet (Code khscounselors) for questions and one-on-one registration assistance.  Families must use student's WCPSS accounts to access the Registration Open Lab using Google Meet Code: khscounselors

​March 9th Registration Day! All 9th-11th graders will make course requests in Powerschool during advisory.  Students should bring their completed course selection sheet to record requests into Powerschool.  Please view the Registration Process page for an instructional video. 
  • Students will record course requests directly into Powerschool.  We recommend students make an appointment with their counselor before March 9th to ensure they are selecting the correct courses.  To schedule an appointment with your counselor, click HERE to locate their appointment links and schedule an appointment.
  • Counselors will follow up with any students who do not complete their registration on March 9th.

March 28th-  All course applications, Parent AP waivers, early release, early graduation and midyear graduation forms are due for consideration. Parent AP waivers are required for students who have requested AP courses without a teacher recommendation. 

April 7th: Course verification sheets sent home to families to review.

April 13th: Deadline to return course verification sheets for any changes to course requests. If not returned, then approve of course selections.
No changes will be made to students' course selections/schedule for the 2022-2023 school year after April 13th ​​​
